All of our small boat Learn-to-Sail courses are taught in the 8-feet long Breeze, made by Walker Bay Boats.  Camano Sail and Power also has a number of other small sailboats in its fleet which are used in the advanced classes and are availble to rent during Open Sailing.  Because they are larger, a bit more complicated, and can be more challenging to sail, we require that you upgrade your Skipper's card for the particular boat that you wish to sail.  We presently have Lasers, Laser >> ("Laser 2), and an Alpha.  
     It is easy to upgrade and requires just two hours of an orientation on the particular boat.  The cost is a one-time $50.  and is a one-on-one session with the instructor.   Contact camanosail@camano.net or call us at
